Rachel Toll loves painting with watercolours. She is surrounded by inspiration living amidst the beautiful countryside of Mid Devon and seeing nature all around her. She strives to capture the essence of the subject she paints and the eyes of the animal hold a special place in the painting. Once I she has the eyes she likes to work loosely, leaving much to the viewers’ imagination.

The Eco-Friendly Card Co. creates beautifully designed eco-friendly greetings cards and sustainable stationery that help customers make positive environmental choices without compromise. Every product is crafted with respect for nature, using recycled materials, plastic-free packaging, and renewable energy.
Their Eco Commitments:
FSC® Certified Paper: They were the first direct-to-retail card publisher to achieve FSC chain of custody certification back in 2006. FSC certification guarantees responsible forest management, protecting biodiversity, productivity, and ecological balance. It’s also the only certification endorsed by WWF, Friends of the Earth, and Greenpeace.
Recycled Cards: Every card they make contains recycled content—most are printed on 100% recycled post-consumer waste. Some even use innovative board made with 50% recycled coffee cup waste.
Recycled Envelopes: Their envelopes are made from 100% recycled paper, using post-consumer waste, and wherever possible are sourced from the UK.
Vegetable-Based Inks: Instead of mineral oils, they use vegetable-based inks derived from soybean and linseed, reducing VOC emissions and supporting safer printing.
Recyclable by Design: All their cards and packaging are fully recyclable. They never use glitter, foil, or plastic laminates, so everything can go straight into household recycling.
Plastic-Free Packaging: In 2006, they became the first card company to switch to compostable corn-starch bags (EN13432 certified). These compost down in industrial facilities in around 45 days—or a little longer in a home compost heap. Unlike oxo-degradable plastics, they break down completely, without leaving microplastics.
Made in the UK: They design, print, and manufacture all their cards in the UK—supporting local industry and reducing transport miles.
Powered by Green Energy: Their offices and print presses run on renewable Green Energy, lowering their footprint at every stage.
Carbon Zero Commitment: They offset unavoidable emissions through CO2 Balance and their African Stove Project, helping communities while protecting the climate.
By choosing them, you’re not just sending a card—you’re sharing a message of care for the planet. Their sustainable cards, and eco stationery are designed to make a difference, combining creativity with responsibility.
