In 2011, Re-wrapped was born from a simple wish—to find beautifully crafted gift wrap that was kind to the earth. Frustrated by the lack of stylish, recycled options for their own gifts, founders Tracy Umney and Annie Cullen decided to create something better. Inspired by nature, quality, and responsibility, their vision took shape—and Re-wrapped came to life.
From the beginning, Re-wrapped has focused on doing things differently. Every sheet of wrapping paper, card, and tag is made in the UK from 100% recycled, unbleached post-consumer paper, printed with vegetable-based inks—and free from plastic, bleach, or harmful additives.
These design-led creations—available in styles ranging from graceful botanicals to whimsical wildlife—are eco-conscious and elegant. Since launch, Re-wrapped has grown steadily and is now carried by independent retailers across the UK. Along the way, they’ve been recognised as finalists in the Hertfordshire Green Awards (2012) and earned a national Green Apple Award for Environmental Best Practice (2013).
But their commitment doesn’t stop with what’s on the paper. Re-wrapped strives to be green in everything—from sourcing paper and inks to packaging and even the choice of electricity supplier. Alongside this, they believe in giving back: each year, 5% of their profits support causes close to their hearts.
By choosing Re-wrapped, you’re not only gifting beauty—you’re helping save trees, water, energy, and landfill space. One tonne of recycled paper alone saves around 17 trees, 4,000 kWh of energy, and 32,000 litres of water—and Re-wrapped’s paper is entirely recyclable, compostable, and made to be reused again.
