  • Rachel Toll is a UK-based watercolour artist inspired by the natural beauty of the Mid Devon countryside. Living and working among rolling fields and wildlife, she draws daily inspiration from nature, particularly animals and their expressive character. Rachel specialises in watercolour painting, focusing on capturing the true essence and personality of her subjects rather than fine detail. The eyes play a central role in her work, often becoming the emotional focal point of each piece. Once the expression is established, she works in a loose, fluid style, allowing colour, movement and the viewer’s imagination to complete the story.

    FSC® Certified Materials
    The Eco-Friendly Card Company was the first direct-to-retail card publisher to achieve FSC® Chain of Custody certification in 2006. All paper used comes from responsibly managed forests that protect biodiversity and ecological balance. FSC® is the only forest certification scheme endorsed by WWF, Friends of the Earth and Greenpeace, ensuring the highest environmental standards.

    Recycled Card Stock
    Every card contains recycled content, clearly stated on the reverse. The majority are made from 100% recycled post-consumer waste, with selected ranges innovatively produced using 50% recycled post-industrial coffee cup waste, helping reduce landfill and promote circular design.

    100% Recycled Envelopes
    All envelopes are made from 100% recycled paper, using post-consumer waste wherever possible.

    Vegetable-Based Inks
    Cards are printed using vegetable-based inks made from renewable sources such as soybean or linseed oil. These inks significantly reduce volatile organic compound (VOC) emissions compared to traditional mineral-oil inks.

    Fully Recyclable Products
    Every product is designed to be easy to recycle, with no foil, glitter, plastic coatings or laminates. This ensures cards can be responsibly disposed of after use.

    Plastic-Free Packaging
    In 2006, The Eco-Friendly Card Company became the first card publisher to introduce certified compostable packaging. All protective sleeves are made from corn starch and meet EN13432 compostability standards, breaking down in industrial composting conditions and home compost heaps. The company never uses oxo-degradable plastics.

    All cards are printed and manufactured in the United Kingdom, supporting UK suppliers, reducing carbon miles and maintaining strict quality and environmental oversight.
